Welcome

"but there is also something else in Crete. There is a spark let us call it soul something that is above life and death, which is difficult to define. There is this pride, this tenaciousness, something else, expressionless and imponderable that makes you glad to be human"

Crete Property - Temperature Chart

Crete offers a clean and virgin environment. The fact that there are no industrial facilities on the island means there is no particular cause for environmental pollution. That is why many of Crete’s beaches have been awarded by the European Union with the blue flags; its plains are full of green, the hills are covered with trees and the wild rocky beauty fills the mountains of the island, no matter where you are, with the aroma of flowers.

  • In recent years the Cretan diet has been awarded as the healthiest and best cuisine in the world, where the many tasty Cretan “goodies” fill more tables all the time with new savory experiences.

We invite you to try them accompanied by the traditional “raki”.

  • Low crime rate. Studies have demonstrated that compared to other countries Crete has one of lowest crime rates. This gives you the freedom to go anywhere you wish, any time you want and explore every corner of Crete with safety.
  • Lower cost of living compared to other countries. In terms of cost of living we believe Crete approaches a happy medium. It is equally inexpensive as other developed countries such as e.g. Spain or Portugal but in Crete you will not find this construction overkill, the place is still virgin and clean. It is a bit more expensive compared to other less developed countries such as for example Turkey, but the benefits it has to offer are clearly better; for example the sense of safety. It is very important to feel safe in the place you are living or spending your holidays. The sense of freedom, to not be restricted, to respect human values and your fellow man. Human values can not be bought. It is also much cheaper compared to other more developed countries, for example some studies show that Greece is 30 – 40% less expensive compared to England.
  • Crete is a member of the European Union which means that as a resident of Europe you have the ability to enjoy all the positives of the European Union. For example you are entitled to medical coverage, you can easily travel from one country to the other using the same currency, or you can also come with your own vehicle without requiring extensive bureaucratic procedures.
  • It has two main airports, in Chania and Heraklio and another new one under construction in Sitia, with all being connected via a quite good, and developing on a daily basis, road network that joins them with all the cities of the island for easy, safe and quick access. Each city also has ports for your arrival but also to visit the equally beautiful neighboring islands and of course the rest of Greece. Crete as one of the prime tourism destinations in Greece has direct flights for arrivals and departures abroad and to the rest of Greece. Furthermore in the last few years even more airlines are adding a stop in Crete via inexpensive charter flights.
  • Crete has an extensive history that enables us to walk in the paths carved out by all the different civilizations that passed through the island thousands of years ago, to experience them through the museums, the archeological sites, the fortresses, the old cities, even in the customs of this land where they are ingrained up to today with respect to the past.

We invite you to Crete to enjoy the Cretan hospitality that is known for its friendliness, generosity, honor, love of company and entertainment, to welcoming and taking care of the newcomer. Sit with us at the same table so we can treat you to a raki or a glass of wine accompanied by a “meze” and feel right at home. Allow our spirits to freely express themselves experiencing the Cretan hospitality from up close that is known to the ends of the earth.
